While Xenia Canary is constantly optimized, a powerful PC is recommended for the best experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 7 (64-bit) or higher
  • CPU: 64-bit x86 processor with AVX2 support (Intel Haswell or AMD Ryzen and newer)
  • RAM: 4 GB
  • GPU: DirectX 12 or Vulkan-compatible graphics card
  • Storage: 10 GB of free space

Recommended Requirements:

  • OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 / AMD Ryzen 7 or better
  • RAM: 8 GB or more
  • GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1060 / AMD RX 580 or higher
  • Storage: SSD with at least 20 GB free

Installation Guide

  1. Download the Emulator: Grab the latest release from the link above.
  2. Extract the Files: Unzip the downloaded archive to a folder of your choice.
  3. Launch Xenia: Double-click xenia.exe to run the emulator.
  4. Load a Game: Drag and drop an Xbox 360 ISO or XBLA file into the window.

Important Notes

  • Game Files: You’ll need legally obtained Xbox 360 game files. Xenia doesn’t include or distribute games.
  • BIOS/ROMs: No BIOS or firmware is required — Xenia Canary emulates the console directly.
  • Performance Tips: For better performance, keep your GPU drivers updated and close unnecessary background apps.
